Bianca and Baxter Red Standard Poodles are the loves of our lives!

2 1/2 years ago we found Barb and Heartland through a puppy find website. We had recently lost our golden retriever mix after almost 13 years. My husband has dander allergies and when she passed we were not going to be able to have dogs in our home any longer. We had heard that Poodles were hypoallergenic for those who had allergies. We were skeptical as we did not know anyone with poodles my husband could be around to see if he would be OK. We saw a picture of our Bianca and fell in love at first sight. We contacted Barb immediately to start the process of making this beautiful puppy a part of our family. Barb was GREAT at giving us all the information we requested about the breed, the parents, the shipping process, special needs and care of our new puppy. You name it we went over it and she was very thorough and left nothing unsaid. We were blessed with the most beautiful dog ever. When Bianca was a month shy of being 2 a new litter of beautiful puppies were born and again our Baxter immediately caught our eye. Once again we worked with Barb to make this special baby a part of our family. The day that Baxter was to fly home to us she got him to the airport in Omaha to find out it was going to be too cold for him to safely travel all the way to Cleveland. She called my husband right away to let him know Baxter would not be coming and told us as soon as she got home with him we would make arrangements for the next week for travel. The weather in February was simply miserable and the whole week Barb watched the weather not only where she was at but where we were at as well. The weather was so cold and to adhere to travel guidelines we ended up watching the weather by the hour the day of travel. We arrived at the airport at 10 pm to pick him up in the cargo office and Barb had gone above and beyond to ensure he would stay warm during his flight. The crate was filled almost half way up with shredded paper which makes for great bedding and kept the warmth from his body around him. She had also put him in a hooded sweatshirt that was the most adorable thing ever. She did not have to do this but she loves these dogs so much she will do anything for them. We now have a 2 1/2 year old and 7 month old poodles. They are very smart, very active, very loving, and a great breed to have as a pet. Their personalities are like night and day. She is the queen and he is a jester. She is very prim, proper, and regal and he is a clown and is always goofing around. They are completely inseparable though and where you see one you see the other. All I can say is "Wonderful breed and Wonderful breeder". Thank you Barb for our babies. We love them so much...thank you,,,thank you...thank you!!!
