a Portuguese Water Dog,

I purchased Mac, (his original name still) a Portuguese Water Dog, from Barb at Heartland Classics in Feb 2016. He arrived after being crated 7 hours flying to Rochester, NY. He stepped out of the crate clean, rested, calm and I must say, confident even at 8 weeks of age. I had recently retired and hoped to have a Therapy Dog to do volunteer work in my newly minted retirement. He just passed all his tests in Obedience and Therapy training with ease. He has turned out to be the light of my life! He loves Lake Ontario, old people, young people, other dogs, and is enthusiastic about everything in life. I could not be happier with choosing a pup from Barb and Heartland Classics!
