Leia, a princess from the beginning!

We purchased our Tibetan Terrier puppy from Heartland and have had a wonderful experience. Barb Lierman is a wonderful person and superb breeder. Leia will be one year old on October 13. We have loved her from the day we picked her up at York, Nebraska and love her more every day. She is a bright affectionate puppy who grasps our hands with her uniquely flexible paws. She sits, lies down, comes, waits to eat a treat and stays on command. She "shakes hands" which is easy for her given her paws. She is beautiful and healthy. She's playful and very affectionate. Barb is great to deal with and we are so very happy to have Leia become a part of our family. Our three year old schnauzer, Mitzie, is somewhat less certain about Leia who tends to grab the stuffed toys before Mitzie can get to them. We assume this benign sibling rivalry which is amusing to watch will continue as Leia can outrun Mitzie and jump significantly higher. This makes it easy for her to jump into your lap for cuddles. That eliminates having to bend over to pick her up. We are now retired and our dogs bring us endless joy. Thank you Barb, as I have said before, You're wonderful.
