Murphy our Savior

Dear Barbara, We purchased Murphy (Hunter) back in 11/2011. I had three teenage boys. They couldn't believe I was now getting a dog. I was turning 50! It was the best decision I have ever made. My oldest had left his college in New York to rethink his future. I being his Mum was delighted to have him home again. Teenage years they always seem to be busy with sports and out with friends. Murphy and my son spent a lot of time together. I would watch them leave the back yard and go exploring for hours in the woods. Murphy always jumping and picking up sticks along the way. Six months later my oldest son tragically died in an automobile accident. I truly believe God placed Murphy in our lives to give us all the strength to go on. He has been the sweetest companion and friend I have ever known. He is always close by to me and has helped me thru the darkest of days. I have such wonderful memories of my son rolling around the floor with Murphy as a puppy. I am so glad the two of them met. Murphy has also been a tremendous help for my other two boys. They now want to give Murphy another four legged friend. Yes another Wheaton! As for the asthma issues. I have been allergic to animals all my life. I still am but Wheaton terriers really are tolerable. I can get right up close with Murphy. Have him lay on me and honestly I'm ok. I find the only time I get wheezy is when he's been in the woods and brought back boggy paws. He does love the mud, Or when he has played with our dogs. I use my inhaler maybe a couple of times a week. Nothing serious. Let's just say I went to a friends house who use to own golden retrievers. I lasted 30 minutes in her home. Wheaton's really are hypoallergenic.
